ISIS Help - Automated Valuation Service

The Automated Valuation Service (AVS) allows customers to view, update and maintain their company's portfolio information.

Customers can choose one of two types of access based on the extent to which they wish to use the system.

Both customer types have access to the AVS bulletin board. The options available are:

Inquiry Only customers can view single securities, as well as the SVO Designation for each security.
Full Access customers have access to functions that allow them to maintain a portfolio within the system and to request reports on their portfolio.

The following functions are available within AVS. Click the links to see detailed information and instructions for each function. NOTE: Only the Search/Maintain Portfolio and the View AVS Bulletin Board functions are available to Inquiry Only customers.

To access the Automated Valuation Service:

1. Click the Login link on the right of the navigation bar at the top of the ISIS Home Page. The ISIS home page address is: http://isis.naic.org. The Application Login window will be displayed on top of the Home Page window.

2. Enter your AVS User ID and password in the appropriate fields. NOTE: AVS is a subscription only service and will not be available unless you have valid user id and system password. If you do not have a valid user id and password, contact the AVS Administrator at avsisis@naic.org.

3. Click the Yellow Login button under the Password field. An Automated Valuation Services link will be displayed in the center of the navigation bar at the top of the page.

4. Click the Automated Valuation Services link. The AVS Disclaimer will be displayed with the terms of the AVS license agreement. NOTE: The disclaimer will be displayed each time you log in and select the AVS option. If you select the AVS option again before logging out, the disclaimer will not be displayed.

5. Click the Continue button at the bottom of the disclaimer if you agree to terms of the license agreement. The Automated Valuation Service (AVS) page will be displayed.

6. Select the function within the AVS system that you wish to perform.

7. To log out of the AVS system and return to the ISIS Home Page, click the Logout link at the right of the navigation bar at the top of the page. Then click the Yellow Logout button halfway down on the left side to complete log out sequence. Next click the highlighted ISIS Home Page link.

8. To return to the ISIS Home Page without logging out, click the Home link on the left of the navigation bar at the top of the page.

9. To navigate to other systems within ISIS, use the links at the center of the navigation bar at the top of the page.
